001: Home
As someone who has moved many times , the concept of home isn’t a physical place for me. This image was taken in an area I didn’t originally feel at home, but where I learned the most valuable lesson regarding this concept. Home is where love is, where light is.. and most importantly where you feel grounded.
Home is a refuge, a sanctuary, protection from the external world.
Home is a feeling. For me, it is anywhere I am out in nature.
002: endure
The pursuit takes you on an adventure as you trek up into the endless uphill avalanche-ridden terrain. If you have never experienced such a sensation - Have you ever had that feeling of a constant uphill battle? Having to stay strong when no on else is, or when it feels impossible? When you don’t see a finish line as it is all whited out ? Steps feel endless with no destination - only the journey.
One of my most profound teachings is that mental strength is a cornerstone of enduring life’s greatest challenges.
003: infinite
Climbing mountains and being in the quiet of these giants makes me feel infinite. What makes you feel infinite? When do you feel limitless? This shot was taken towards the end of a 100km trek in just a few days. We more bears than we did humans. The dead silence of the trails reminded me of this fragile and powerful ecosystem. It was both haunting and inspirational simultaneously.
Anyone and everyone has something that opens this portal up to them in their life. Keep pursuing that feeling because it never gets old.
